Pipe work
Chlorinated polyvinyl chloride (CPVC)
Pipe work is used to install most domestic sprinkler systems.

Most Domestic Sprinkler Systems are fed from the towns mains but
It is unlikely that houses connected to the town main via a 15mm pipe will
be able to meet the manufacturer’s minimum pressure/flow requirements
for the sprinkler head without replacement of the supply pipe.
The use of 32mm/50mm diameter supply pipe from the main has significant
performance benefits over the use of 25mm pipe
(which is currently used for new build properties)

Supply of water from a storage cistern via a booster pump to ensure adequate pressure and flow
To meet BS9251 requirements.
Domestic systems require 60/L a minute for a single head Operating OR 42/L a minute (84/L a minute) for 2 heads operating Simultaneously
