A fire in an airing cupboard on the half landing of a duplex apartment in an 18 storey block was suppressed by the operation of two sprinkler heads. The fire had spread from the airing cupboard, which did not have sprinkler protection, on to the half landing. The half landing door was open allowing the fire to be suppressed by sprinklers. In total  2 heads operated including the one located on the top floor landing

The cause of the fire was electrical, light fitting, and the sprinkler system had controlled the fire before the arrival of London Fire Brigade.
